Detector

The Leszlauer Cancer Detector LEC-03 is an exceptional world class equipment for diagnosing cancer, monitoring Chemo - and Radiation Therapy as well as other treatment methods of cancer (tumorous diseases).

The Cancer Detector LEC-03 equipment fundamentally differs from today's well-known conventional electronic devices. This is one of the groundbreaking innovations of the LEC-03: It does not measure impedance!

The basic theory behind the Cancer Detector and its diagnostic advantages can be briefly summarized as follows:

This is a computer aided diagnostic device, designed to detect and measure Na+ ion concentration (via signal level) in the tissue fluids and cells, using a flexible electrochemical touch probe. The device measures the current local cell cleavage rate via the probe.

The unique combination of cutting edge hardware and streamlined software is responsible for the Cancer Detector LEC-03's exceptionally high accuracy and sensitivity. The electronic system calibrates the input line 3 times every second. This super sensitive system also adjusts itself based on the changes in external and internal temperature by monitoring the condition of its own components.

The most important role of the Cancer Detector LEC-03 is to predict malignant activity and to open the door to a very effective, personalized treatment after an early detection.

Diagnosing Cancer

Based on recent clinical research it became clear that there is a relatively long period preceding the development of cancerous cells during which time there is no chance of visual detection. The regular, healthy cell division dramatically accelerates in those cell populations where the first cancerous deformations (pre-cancer status) will occur. This drastic change in cell division foreshadows the future appearance of the first visible malignant cells.

According to our extensive testing, at first the healthy cells' division rate increases gradually reaching the malignant rate and then, weeks and months pass by before the initial appearance of any cancerous cells becomes obvious. Also some benign tumors transform into malignant ones following a similar process.

The percentage Na+ ion concentration in healthy tissues is 0.05%; in benign tumors and inflamed cells it is 0.05% to 0.10%, while in malignant deformations this range is about 0.15% - 0.20%. Our Cancer Detector is designed to detect as low as 0.01% change in Na + ion concentration. This sensitivity level is far higher than what is actually required for an accurate and successful detection, therefore the accuracy of diagnosis is close to 100%.
The results are available in 5-10 seconds.

The LEC-03 is one of the most ideal and effective equipment for detection of early stage cancer.

Monitoring Treatment

With the current traditional diagnostic methods, any change, or results, can only be detected after a 6 week waiting period. The LEC-03 reduces this waiting period to only 3-4 days, which saves crucial time for both the practitioner and patient. Based on the new results, the strategy of the treatment can be adjusted or entirely changed if necessary.

Sometimes it can happen that a part of the targeted tumor doesn't receive the adequate and intended dose of radiation. In this case, the Cancer Detector will show a higher signal level received from the incompletely treated malignant area, which means only one thing to the practitioner: the cleavage rate is still high, way above ideal, the treatment was not successful enough on the target area. A new strategy is needed.

Based on research conducted by our own laboratory, we discovered that successful treatment of malignant tumors, through irradiation or medication, continually reduces the signal level received from the cancerous deformation. This deceleration can even reach a rate of 15-20% after 3-4 days following cessation of therapy. Based on these findings, we can conclude that cleavage rate of the cancerous cells is declining and getting closer to normal.

The LEC-03 detects the exact area that needs immediate attention with geometrical precision in just 3-4 days following the radiation treatment. Without this vital information the prognosis is most likely relapse.

During Invasive Surgery

Since the device gives instant results, the LEC-03 is capable of determining the exact area with geometric precision that has to be removed, during an invasive surgery, preventing unnecessary damage to the body .

Some Scientific Background

According to our preliminary examinations the reasons for acceleration in rate of cell division can be caused by the following:

  • Mechanical injury (wound-healing process)
  • Radiation
  • Chemical or hormonal impacts (e.g. cervical lesions)
  • Viral infection (e.g. HPV virus).

These are the same causes that are listed as carcinogenic. Strong similarities in the two lists are probably not merely coincidental.

During anastasis, normal cells reach cleavage rates similar to that of malignant cells, with a concurrent increase in Na+ ion concentration, but this is a short-term phenomenon lasting for only a few days. The high speed cleavage rate that characterizes active cancerous cells also brings about a high concentration of Na+ ions, during the period of activity. This increase in concentration is directly proportional to the degree of malignancy. This malignancy level is basically nothing more than the rate at which these cells are dividing.

Thus, it is not surprising that the active cancerous tissues produce a high Na+ ion level, as opposed to the inactive, or disintegrating tumors which produce a low Na+ ion level, since the local high rate of cell cleavage ceases in absence of cell activity.

Our most significant perception is that any critical (malignant) increase in rate of healthy cell-division precedes the visible formation of malignant lesions.

There are many harmful cellular processes occurring in a healthy organism, on a daily basis but most of these never cause tumors. The basic reason for this is that these cells do not live to the date of first cell division. They perish sooner due to their low speed of division. Therefore we have good reason to assume that some processes are basically innocuous, provided they do not exhibit critical increases in rate of cell division.

With the possibility of measuring the cell-division rate, the Cancer Detector LEC-03 is also breaking new grounds for pharmaceutical researchers.
